Ottawa, ON – Ottawa Comiccon took take place at the EY Centre this weekend attracting over 38,000 visitors, an increase of 8,000 over the 2013 edition, from all corners of the fantasy fiction world converging for the highly anticipated third edition of the event. Robert Englund, best known to the audience as Freddy Krueger in eight films from the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. 2014 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships Underway in Ottawa

Ottawa, ON – The 100th anniversary of the Canadian National Skating Championships landed in Ottawa, marking the 14th time in the history of the event it’s been held in Ottawa, since it’s humble beginnings in 1914 when it was held across the city at the Minto Skating Club.
