OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa 67’s are Eastern Conference champions after shutting out the Mississauga Steelheads 3-0 at home on Sunday afternoon.
Led by a 22-save shutout from Mikey DiPietro and the 100th point of the season for Tye Felhaber, the 67’s officially clinched home ice advantage through the Eastern Final.
Felhaber’s goal, his 56th of the season to give Ottawa 2-0 lead early in the third period, was also his 100th goal as a 67.
