Ottawa, ON – The 2nd annual Sears Great Canadian Chill returned to Britannia Beach New Years Day. The Sears Great Canadian Chill, formerly the Polar Bear Dip, is a fundraiser for the National pediatric cancer research initiative and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). The event was fun for the entire family, friends and great team building, for those brave enough to take the plunge or not. This year there was a DJ spinning great music and plenty of hot chocolate and warm snacks.
