Ottawa, ON – The Trois-Rivieres Aigles racked up 17 hits as they took care of the Ottawa Champions 12-2.
Eight different Aigles registered at least one hit in the game and half of them had three or more hits. SS Pedro Lopez had a team-high four hits and scored a pair of runs. LF Craig Hertler, DH Joel Carranaza and 3B Eric Grabe each added three hits. Carranaza hit a three-run home run as a part of the Aigles’ seven-run fifth inning.
For the Champions, three different batters – 2B Albert Cartwright, 1B Bryce Massanari and 3B/SS Roberto Ramirez – had a pair of hits.
