22nd annual CHEO BBQ raises $75,000 for CHEO

Ottawa, ON – On Saturday, June 14, over 1,500 people gathered at Ottawa’s east-end Shefford Park for the 22nd annual CHEO BBQ. Ottawa-Gatineau’s only volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee event, the CHEO BBQ saw athletes and families play, pledge and win with the hopes of this year raising $75,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).

This year’s BBQ once again featured an Ultimate Frisbee and beach volleyball tournament, plus a 1km superheroes family walk around the park.
