CAN-AM: Champions Grauer 2 Run Walkoff Home Run Difference Over Jackals

OTTAWA, ON – Ottawa DH Daniel Grauer belted a two-run walkoff home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to send the Champions to a 4-2 opening night win over the New Jersey Jackals. New Jersey had a 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the eighth only to see Ottawa score two runs to tie it and then win it in the ninth with the Grauer home run. Champions 2B Robert Garza went 2-for-3 with a run scored and SS Daniel Bick drove in a pair of runs in a 1-for-4 night. Ottawa reliever Calvin Rayburn tossed an inning of work with three walks to notch the win. Jackals 1B Art Charles went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run.
